Surrounded by water all around – the Dutch province of North Holland is situated on a peninsula between the North Sea, the Wadden Sea and the IJsselmeer.
The rich history of the Far North of Holland has left its mark on the rugged landscape. Picturesque little towns tell of a time when the IJsselmeer was still called the Zuiderzee and had open access to the North Sea.
A visit to the Zuiderzee Museum in Enkhuizen brings those times back to life. Discover the peninsula between the North Sea, the IJsselmeer and Texel, the largest West Frisian island.
The landscape, your tour is characterized by water, dikes and dunes, nature reserves, flower fields, pastures and many picturesque towns.
Cycle around Texel, the largest Dutch island in the Wadden Sea. Experience Friesland with its unique lake landscape, numerous rivers and canals – a true paradise for cyclists. Your ship, the MS Rigoletto, will accompany you from port to port.
Your ship
The MS Rigoletto is a cozy riverboat with a beautiful salon, bar, reception, on-board store, small library and restaurant.
Enjoy home-style meals. The appealing interior design is characterized by a harmonious colour scheme paired with wood and brass.
Large panoramic windows in the saloon provide wonderful views of the passing landscapes. All public areas and cabins are air-conditioned. Partially covered sun deck with seating, outdoor bar and storage facilities for bicycles.

On warm evenings and fresh mornings it is the heart and head of the ship – very cozy with its seating areas and deck chairs.
Length of the ship: 105 m, width: 10.90 m, draught: 1.50 m, capacity: up to 113 passengers and 20 crew members.

The cabins
There are a total of 25 cabins on the main deck and 28 cabins on the upper deck. The 2-bed cabins on both decks have 2 Pullman single beds, which can be stowed away during the day. The cabins are approximately 11.5 square meters in size.
On the upper deck you will find a 3-bed cabin of approx. 12 square meters with two fold-away beds and a Pullman bed as well as 1 x junior suite, approx. 22 square meters, with a double bed and a small seating area with two armchairs.
The two 1-bed cabins on the upper deck each have approx. 8 square meters. All cabins are equipped with shower/WC, safe, color TV, ventilation system and an opening window.
Ausflugsprogramm, Fahrplan- und Programmänderungen
The excursion program is aus exclusively bookable directly on board. You will receive a brief description with your travel documents. Depending on the composition of the participants, the excursions may be offered bilingually German-English.
Please note that timetables and programs are subject to change . If, for example, due to low water, high water or bad weather, a route cannot be taken, the captain reserves the right to change the route for your safety. This is not a free reason for withdrawal. The same applies to lock or bridge repairs ordered by the authorities and not announced in advance.

Rental bikes
7-speed unisex touring bikes and 8-speed e-bikes from Velo de Ville with handbrake, freewheel or coaster brake (please specify as a non-binding customer request when booking). The bikes are equipped with removable panniers, handlebar bag and rental bike insurance.
E-Bikes sind nur begrenzt verfügbar. Please indicate your height when booking.
Mitnahme eigener Räder
Sie können Ihre eigenen Fahrräder oder E-Bikes mitnehmen. Only e-bikes with a removable, not permanently installed battery can be taken along. Please note that this is done at your own risk. The shipping company excludes any liability for loss, theft, damage. This also applies to transport damage from ship to shore and back. The shipping company charges a small additional fee for taking your bikes with you. Please book the option“own bike” with.
Arrival
We recommend that you arrive by train. Enkhuizen is easily accessible by train via Amsterdam. You can find connections e.g. at www.bahn.de.
Get in on the vacation at home. Enjoy your journey – and look forward to the punctuality of Dutch Railways. Book our rental bikes and come aboard completely relaxed.
If you arrive by car, please use one of the public parking lots or parking garages near the port.
Important notes
The minimum number of participants on the ship is 50. If we do not reach the minimum number of participants, we must cancel the trip up to 21 days before the start of the trip. In practice, this restriction is hardly relevant, as the ships are almost always overbooked. We are not aware that a tour has ever not taken place due to the minimum number of participants.
We recommend that you take out travel cancellation insurance.
Please note: This trip is not suitable for people with reduced mobility.
