This tour takes you from Freiburg im Breisgau through the Höllental valley into the Upper Black Forest to Hinterzarten, to Lake Titisee and further south-east along the High Rhine via Basel and Weil am Rhein back to the Königsstuhl in Freiburg. A varied tour of hills, lakes, gorges and rivers.
We start this lake tour in the old council and university town of Constance, where it ends 8 days later. You cycle around the Lower Lake to Stein am Rhein, pass the Rhine Falls to Schaffhausen, cycle back to Radolfzell, to Lake Überlingen, to Unteruhldingen, Meersburg, Friedrichshafen and cycle along the Upper Lake via Friedrichshafen to Lindau and Bregenz in Austria. The route then continues along the southern shore of Switzerland via Romanshorn and Kreuzlingen (CH) back to Constance.
