Let’s go! Explore the charming Mozart city of Salzburg with all your senses. The charming old town attracts annually about nine million visitors under its spell. While the main routes around the Getreidegasse are bursting with bustle, you can lose yourself in the side streets and find quieter passages.
Burghausen, Schleedorf and Thalgau are among the charming towns along the tour that blend seamlessly into the captivating Alpine panorama. Enjoy not only the Austrian delicacies around Kasnocken & Co, but also the special hospitality . The absolute highlight of the tour are of course the numerous lakes: Wallersee, Mondsee, Holzöster See, Trumer Seen: they are all waiting for you to jump in!

You will be accommodated in beautiful 3*** hotels, inns and guesthouses. A rich cyclist’s breakfast is included daily.
Arrival
You can easily reach Salzburg by train. You can find information e.g. at https://bahn.de or https://oebb.at.
Salzburg Airport is connected to the international flight network. You can reach Salzburg by car via the Tauernautobahn.
Parking lots
In Salzburg: Parking lot approx. 10 € – 20 € / day, payable on site, no reservation possible or necessary. Alternatively, you can use a public garage in Salzburg: approx. € 100,- / week.
Trumer See: Parking lot approx. 10 € / day, payable on site, no reservation possible or necessary.
Your bike tour
The cycle routes on the lake shores and along the Salzach are completely flat. You cycle through numerous nature reserves and past many lakes with bathing opportunities. In between, the terrain is mostly hilly. Between the Trumer Seen lakes and Salzburg or Mondsee, the route has a few longer climbs. The majority of the route leads from lake to lake on cycle paths and very little-used side roads. Only a few short sections, sometimes on roads with heavier traffic.

Rental bicycles
Sturdy unisex touring bikes, 7 speeds with hub gears and coaster brake or 21 speeds with derailleur and freewheel (please choose when booking), comfort saddle, 28 inch with different frame heights. On request also 21-speed men’s bike possible.
Rental bike PREMIUM: the sportier version! High-quality equipment, for example, with 27-speed Shimano Deore XT gears, hydraulic Magura brakes HS 11 and Suntour suspension fork.
Electric bikes: unisex bikes with electric pedal assist up to 25 km/h; 8-speed gears with freewheel; range approx. 120 – 180 km (depending on riding style), 550 Wh battery detachable with mobile charger, hydraulic brakes.
Follow-Up with children’s bike: Hang your child’s front wheel in the tow trailer and off you go at speed and with joy!

Own bikes
It is possible to bring your own bikes, but at your own risk. For possible damages etc. on the own bike during the whole bike trip as well as during transport trips can not be liable.
For your own safety, we recommend that you always wear a bicycle helmet on all bicycle tours.
