During this 8-day trip, explore Saarburg, among other places, which is sometimes called \"Little Venice\". However, the city is by no means the only highlight of this trip for romantics and pleasure seekers. Beautiful half-timbered houses, vineyards, the Porta Nigra in Trier, the old arm of the Saar: they will all be small highlights.<\/p>\n

While you are active during the day, the ship will follow you along the river and then be back at your disposal as your hotel ship at the day's destination. Moselle and Saar present themselves in the best light.<\/p> Enjoy the Moselle valley in wonderful days between lovely wine villages, steep mountain slopes of the Eifel and Hunsr\u00fcck, once mighty castles of the Trier, Chur-Main and Cologne archbishoprics. Your ship: The MS Olympia<\/h4>\n\"\"On board of the comfortable and cozy riverboat MS Olympia the crew welcomes you in a family atmosphere. The panoramic salon with bar, furnished in English club style, and the bright and friendly restaurant provide ample space for relaxed hours on board. There are plenty of sun loungers available on the spacious, partially covered sun deck. On-board language: <\/strong>German & English \"\"\n

Cabins<\/h4> All 49 cabins are outside cabins, comfortably and tastefully furnished. They have a shower\/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, TV, on-board radio, telephone, a small fridge and a safe. \"\" \"\"\n

Upper deck<\/h4> On the upper deck you will find 22 two-bed cabins of approx. 11m2<\/sup> each and four larger cabins at the rear of the ship as well as two 1-bed cabins (approx. 9m2<\/sup>). The panoramic windows on the upper deck can be opened. \"\"\n

Main deck<\/h4> The main deck offers 21 2-bed cabins of around 11m2<\/sup> each. These cabins are also all on the outside and each has a panoramic window that cannot be opened. \"\"\n

Cycling tour requirements<\/h4>\n> The bike tours you ride individually and unguided. The gates are discussed on a daily basis. > They cover between 35 and 50 km a day. The total cycle tour length is around 230 km. > They mostly ride on paved bike paths and embankment roads or quiet country roads without any significant inclines. The tour is ideal for leisure cyclists and beginners. > The terrain is mostly flat, has hardly any inclines and is suitable for pleasure cyclists, beginners and children. The trip is not suitable<\/strong> for persons with reduced mobility. Please contact us for detailed information if required.

Both Saarburg and Mainz are easily accessible by long-distance and regional trains operated by Deutsche Bahn. Further information on the timetables can be found at www.bahn.de.<\/a> For a stress-free start to your journey, we recommend that you give yourself plenty of time and arrive at the quay by 17:00 at the latest. Car\/parking<\/strong>\n

You can use a public parking garage near the pier in Saarburg from about \u20ac 25,- \/ week. Also at the train station is a parking garage available from about \u20ac 10,- \/ week . No reservation possible. No guarding. Parking at your own risk.<\/p>\n\n

Return journey<\/h4> From Koblenz, you can easily return to Saarburg by train every hour. You are on the road for just under 2 hours. The return journey on the Moselle Valley Railway<\/a> is a real experience! Find and book connections and tickets e.g. at www.bahn.de<\/a>.

Today is all about wine. Neumagen Dhron with its replica of a Roman wine ship is the first stop of the day. The tour continues to Piesport, the largest wine-growing community on the Moselle. It is also the site of the largest Roman winepress ever found north of the Alps.<\/p>\n

Today you can expect a day of relaxation on board. Enjoy the passing Moselle landscape from the sun deck and in the afternoon stroll in Koblenz along the \"German Corner\", where the Moselle and Rhine famously meet.<\/p>\n

Experienced cyclists can alternatively cycle from Cochem to Koblenz and pay a visit to Eltz Castle.<\/p>\n\"\"\n

Welcome to the old capital of the Rhenish Republic, the Romans, Chur-Trier, the Prussians, the Germans: Koblenz<\/a> is probably the most underrated city in Germany. The banks of the Rhine and Moselle, the three fortresses<\/a>, the fortress garden, the promenades, the beautiful old town. Koblenz is worth an extra day.<\/p>\n\"\"\n
