Cycling tour Italy: The Adige cycle path from Nauders to Lake Garda to Verona

8 Days

Your trip

The Adige is the longest river in South Tyrol. Follow it on the Etsch cycle path from Nauders in Tyrol to the largest lake in Italy, the fantastically located Lake Garda!

You cycle along the Etsch cycle path through picturesque vineyards and orchards with wonderful views of the mountains of South Tyrol.

The Adige cycle path always leads you slightly downhill or flat along, making it ideal for cyclists. Only shortly before you reach your destination, Lake Garda, does it start to climb slightly. You will be rewarded with a great view of the lake, which you can really enjoy again on the last day during a Lake Garda boat trip.

You will stay in selected, good hotels or inns of the 3*** or 4**** category.

Daily rich breakfast buffet or a large extended breakfast. When booking half board (not Merano & Bolzano): 4 x 3-course dinner with choice of main course (partly in restaurants near the hotel).

The route/requirement

You cycle mostly on paved bike paths. Daily stages between 49 and 68 km; in total about 320 km. The kilometers may vary depending on the location of the hotels.

Please note: The trip is not suitable for persons with reduced mobility. Please contact us for detailed information if needed.

We also offer this tour in a shorter 7-day variant to Lake Garda.
