Altmühl - Donau
The Altmühltal has been one of the most popular cycle paths in Germany for years. Coming from the Rothenburg area, the river flows gently in a south-easterly direction through the Franconian Jura to flow into the Danube after a good 230 km near Kehlheim and Regensburg. Lovely meadows, steep cliffs, imposing castles and beautiful towns characterize the valley. Its bike path does it credit – and you’re sure to enjoy it. Stand up.
