Your trip
Start your tour on what is probably the most beautiful cycle path in Europe: from Nauders you cycle a little uphill to the Reschen Pass. From there, you cycle along the lakes towards the Adige Valley – sometimes at a leisurely pace, sometimes on a rapid descent and always with the Ortler massif on the horizon: a dream!
The Adige is the longest river in South Tyrol. Follow it on the Etsch cycle path from Nauders in Tyrol to the largest lake in Italy, the fantastically located Lake Garda!
You cycle along the Etsch cycle path through picturesque vineyards and orchards with wonderful views of the mountains of South Tyrol.
The Adige cycle path always leads you slightly downhill or flat along, making it ideal for cyclists. Only shortly before you reach your destination, Lake Garda, does it start to climb slightly. You will be rewarded with a great view of the lake, which you can really enjoy again on the last day during a Lake Garda boat trip.
