With this tour you have the ideal beginner’s variant in the world of high mountain crossings in hand! We have incorporated a number of train and bus transfers into the route. On foot you climb the most beautiful routes along steep rocky gorges, beautiful mountain lakes and wide panoramas.
In eight days you will experience the Bavarian – Tyrolean hospitality, the breathtaking wild beauty of the Northern Alps and the lovely valleys of South Tyrolean sun. Yes. You will feel the tour in your legs – and yes, it will pull you back to More in the realm of the mountains!
Rustic alpine pastures and lonely mountain huts, thundering gorges and impressive high valleys are waiting to be discovered along historic paths. Again and again, traditional Bavarian beer gardens, Tyrolean delicacies and South Tyrolean specialties entice visitors to take a leisurely break. Amidst the highest mountains of the Alps, you will finally reach Merano, where the most diverse impressions of your hiking tour through the Alpine regions will come together to form a unique whole. Tour character
For the daily hikes up to max. 5 hours, a good stamina and solid basic condition are required. The daily routes run along good and, above all, very varied mountain paths, on which surefootedness is required in sections. In part, the routes can be shortened by public transport.

Accommodation
You will stay overnight in typical regional, very good middle class hotels of the 3*** category. Two nights in a mountain hut in a shared room.
Catering
Daily breakfast buffet or extended hiker breakfast included.
Arrival
Railroad
Both Garmisch-Partenkirchen and Merano are easily accessible by train. You travel back on your own best by train. Allow about 4 to 5 hours for an individual return transfer. You have to expect 2 or 3 changes at Brenner and Innsbruck. And – the return journey by train is a real experience.
Alternatively, you can book a return transfer by bus with a change in Bolzano. Please select transfer when booking. Please be sure to indicate if you would like to take your dog on the bus, if applicable! Reservation mandatory at the time of booking.

Car & Parking
Parking possible in unguarded public parking lot near the hotel. Limited hotel parking spaces are available, unfortunately pre-booking is not possible.
