Three countries – one experience: 40 years of the Lake Constance cycle path!
The Lake Constance Cycle Path has connected Germany, Austria and Switzerland since 1983 – and has delighted cycling enthusiasts from all over the world. Discover the “Swabian Sea” in four relaxed stages and experience the diversity of three countries on two wheels.
This bike tour takes you in only 4 bike stages on the Lake Constance Cycle Path through 3 countries: Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
The starting point is the charming festival town of Bregenz, located directly on the lake with its famous lake stage and picturesque lakeside promenade. From here, you follow the Rhine tributary into Lake Constance and have the opportunity to visit the islands of Reichenau, Mainau and Lindau – each a little gem in its own right.
In Constance , you cross the Rhine at kilometer 0 and take the ferry to Meersburg. The route continues along the southern bank via Friedrichshafen, always accompanied by the glistening water and the panorama of the Alps in the background. Finally you reach Bregenz again – filled with impressions and experiences.
